Love this one and I notice that there has been a re-issue of the movie soundtrack. The Broadway version with Julie Andrews is great too. Mari Nixon sings this one. (Maria in Westside Story, Anna in The King and I, etc.) Peggy will like this one, I suspect! 🙂

Fantastic! It was so good, it gives me goose-bumps. LOLIt's one of best soundtrack in this musical album.
Peggy got me thinking about this soundtrack recording. I ordered the movie soundtrack from Amazon (used) to get the rest in high quality (I'll rip the CD into my iTunes at 192bps, as opposed to the more typical 128.) I think it sounds much better, and is still compatible with almost all mp3 players…Did you read the link about Marni Nixon? She did a lot of the singing roles in Musical movies. The King and I, West Side Story, My Fair Lady…The Broadway recording with Julie Andrews is "loverly" too! I have many tracks from her Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music on my lil' niecelets music CDs… ^^ She even did a Studio version of The King And I that also features Lea Salonga on it.I'm so glad you love this music! 🙂

Didn't find any links to Marni Nixon. I thought those soundtracks in My Fair Lady were sung by Julie Andrews.. isn't it? Now I am unsure.I still Believe by Lea Salonga is divine.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that… There are two main versions of My Fair Lady – the Broadway version starring Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison and then later, the movie version soundtrack. Audrey Hepburn's singing voice not being up to the role, they brought in Marni Nixon to dub the singing parts. Marni also dubbed in The King and I and West Side Story, among others… I Still Believe and Sun And Moon are my favorite Lea songs! Plus, have you heard The Journey from her self-titled US CD?

That's OK. I wonder how many other people don't know that? An underline doesn't always mean it's a link. (But you can tell by putting you mouse cursor on it and watching what happens)
